The Ling Wheel is a fun and interactive randomizer wheel I created with a friend. Designed to add a touch of spontaneity to decision-making, the Ling Wheel allows users to input options and let the wheel decide their fate. It’s a simple yet engaging project that showcases creativity and collaboration.
What I learned
Through my hobby project, The Lingwheel, I gained valuable experience in coding and collaboration. Working alongside a friend, we built the randomizer wheel from the ground up. I learned how to effectively use GitHub for version control and collaboration, ensuring smooth teamwork. Additionally, I developed my skills in web development by creating the site from scratch—without relying on WordPress or any other CMS—using pure coding. I also learned how to properly set up the website on a server and link it to a domain, giving me a deeper understanding of the entire web development process.
